This is Kurama the nine-tailed fox from the manga and anime Naruto. He is sewn from minky fabric; pumpkin. His finished size is 9" not including the ears. His face and ears were embroidered with a Brother DZ820E and Embird embroidery software. The body was pattern by Dollphinwing while the head and tails were patterned by me. Kurama has beans in his feet and bottom of tail to help his balance. I patterned 7 of the tails as one piece and then made 2 separate tails to attach in order to save myself a lot of work but still give it dimension.
I am very pleased with how he turned out as my first attempt at a feral style plush. <3 It was one of the most challenging plush I've done. Quite a bit into the project I got nervous and switch over to making a beanie style body just in case I could not finish the sitting body on time! The next day I woke up refreshed and determined to finish this style and it was completed fairly smoothly. Yay! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of my client holding him as he is intended to be a cosplay prop for a Kakashi.
